Pay Scale
Level-6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (7th CPC)
Other Benefits
DA, HRA, TA, Medical, Pension (NPS), Uniform/Kit maintenance, Canteen facilities, Quarters, and other allowances as per rules. All India liability for CAPFs.
Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.08.2025)
Age Limit
20-25 years (Born 02.08.2000 to 01.08.2005). Relaxations: OBC +3, SC/ST +5, ESM +3/5/8, etc. Dept. candidates up to 30/33/35 years.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university. Final year students eligible if degree completed by closing date.
Nationality
Indian citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan with eligibility certificate.
Physical Standards (Male)
- Height: 170 cm (relaxable for hills, ST)
- Chest: 80 cm (unexpanded) + 5 cm expansion
Physical Standards (Female)
- Height: 157 cm (relaxable for hills, ST)
Detailed relaxations and medical standards in notification. For Delhi Police SI (Exe)-Male, departmental candidates need 3 years service.
Mode of Selection
Paper I (CBT)
200 marks, 2 hours: GA (50), Quant (50), Reasoning (50), English (50). Negative marking 0.25. Qualifying: Paper II.
Paper II (CBT)
200 marks, 2 hours: English Language & Comprehension. Negative marking 0.25.
PET/PST (Qualifying): Running, Long/High Jump. Detailed Medical Exam, Document Verification. Merit based on Paper I + II (normalized). For Delhi Police, preference for posting.

Paper I (Common)
- General Awareness: Current Affairs, History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Science, Static GK.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Number System, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trig, Data Interpretation.
- Reasoning: Verbal/Non-Verbal, Analogies, Series, Coding, Blood Relations, Puzzles.
- English: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Error Spotting, Synonyms/Antonyms.
Paper II
- English Language & Comprehension: Spotting Errors, Fill in Blanks, Synonyms/Antonyms, Idioms, One-word Substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive, Direct/Indirect, Para Jumbles, Cloze Test, Reading Comprehension.
