Job Roles
Office Assistants (Multipurpose)
A Group ‘B’ clerical role responsible for day-to-day banking operations, customer interaction, cash handling, and other assigned duties. Selection is based on a two-tier exam (Prelims and Mains) with no interview.
Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
A Group ‘A’ frontline officer role involving managing branch operations, supervising staff, loan disbursement, and customer service. Selection involves Prelims, Mains, and a Common Interview.
Officer Scale II (General Banking & Specialist)
A Group ‘A’ managerial role requiring at least 2 years of relevant experience. Specialists are recruited for specific fields like IT, Law, Treasury, Marketing, and Agriculture, based on professional qualifications.
Officer Scale III (Senior Manager)
A Group ‘A’ senior leadership position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or a financial institution, responsible for managing larger branches and key business areas.

- OA: 18β28 years
- Scale I: 18β30 years
- Scale II: 21β32 years
- Scale III: 21β40 years
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Specialist posts require specific professional qualifications (e.g., Law, IT, CA).
- Experience: Required only for Officer Scale II (2 years in banking/finance) and Scale III (5 years in banking/finance).
- Language: Proficiency in the local language of the state you are applying for is mandatory.
Examination Pattern & Syllabus
For Office Assistants & Officer Scale I.
Total Questions: 80 | Total Marks: 80 | Duration: 45 minutes (Composite)
- Reasoning Ability (40 Q)
- Quantitative Aptitude / Numerical Ability (40 Q)
For Office Assistants & Officer Scale I.
Total Questions: 200 | Total Marks: 200 | Duration: 2 hours (Composite)

Subjects include Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Financial Awareness, Language, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation. Specialist Officer Scale II will have a Professional Knowledge paper instead of Quant.
Negative marking: 1/4th (0.25) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Selection Process
- Office Assistants: Selection based on marks obtained in the Main Exam only. No interview.

- Final selection based on marks from the Single Exam and Interview (80:20 weightage).
