Bank of Baroda Recruitment Notification 2025: Local Bank Officer (JMG/S-I) – 2500 Vacancies
Bank of Baroda invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Local Bank Officer on a regular basis. This is a unique opportunity to join one of India’s largest banks and build a rewarding career in the banking sector.

- Total Vacancies: 2500 (State-wise distribution, reservation as per government norms)
- Posting: Selected candidates will be posted within the applied state for the first 12 years or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is earlier.
- Probation Period: 12 months active service.
- Service Bond: 3 years or pay ₹5 lakhs plus applicable taxes if leaving earlier.
- Scale of Pay: JMG/S-I (with advance increment for candidates with one year or more relevant experience).
- Credit History: Minimum CIBIL score of 680 required at joining.
Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.07.2025):
- Age: 21–30 years (relaxations as per category).
- Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institute (including Integrated Dual Degree). Professional qualifications (CA, Cost Accountant, Engineering, Medical) are also eligible.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (NBFCs, cooperative banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, or fintechs not considered).
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in the local language of the state (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
Application Fee:
- General/EWS/OBC: ₹850/- (inclusive of GST & gateway charges).
- SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Women: ₹175/- (inclusive of GST & gateway charges).
Selection Process:
Shortlisting and interview/selection method will be provisional, subject to document verification.
