SBI Wealth Management Specialist Cadre Recruitment 2025 – 1,146 Posts [UPDATED]

State Bank of India invites online applications for engagement of Specialist Cadre Officers on Contract Basis for Wealth Management positions across 17 Circles. SBI recognized as World’s Best Consumer Bank-2025 and Best Bank of India-2025 by Global Finance.

Contract Period & Other Benefits

  • Contract Period: 5 Years (Renewable for another 4 years at Bank’s discretion)
  • Annual Increment: 0 to 25% based on performance rating
  • Variable Pay: Eligible for Performance Linked Pay (PLP) based on performance
  • Leave Entitlement: 30 days per financial year (granted for genuine reasons)
  • Notice Period: 2 months from either side or payment/surrender of 2 months compensation
  • CTC: Negotiable based on experience, current emoluments, and place of posting

Contract can be terminated without assigning reason by giving 2 months notice. Annual increment and PLP based on performance rating as per Bank’s policy.

Educational Qualification & Experience (Post-wise)

Mandatory: Graduation from Government recognized University/Institution

Preferred: MBA in Banking/Finance/Marketing with 60% marks. Certifications: NISM V-A, XXI-A, CFP/CFA

Essential Experience: 6 years in sales/marketing with leading Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms, or AMCs

Preferred Experience: Minimum 6 years as Relationship Manager or similar role in Wealth Management

2. AVP Wealth RM (237 Posts) [Increased from 206]

Mandatory: Graduates from Government recognized University/Institution

Preferred: Post-graduation in Finance/Marketing/Banking. Certifications: NISM V-A, XXI-A, CFP/CFA

Mandatory Experience: 3 years in sales/marketing with leading Public/Private/Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms, or AMCs. SBI Wealth CREs with 4 years experience eligible

Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years as Relationship Manager or similar role in Wealth Management

3. Customer Relationship Executive (327 Posts) [Increased from 284]

Mandatory: Graduates from Government recognized University/Institution

Preferred: Experience in documentation requirements of financial products and good communication skills

Specific Skill Required: Valid driving licence for two-wheeler (Mandatory)

Teaching/Training experience will NOT be counted. Experience of less than 6 months in any organization not considered. Full-time post-qualification experience only counted.

Selection Process

Selection through shortlisting followed by one or more rounds of Personal/Telephonic/Video Interview and CTC negotiations.

  • Shortlisting Committee to decide parameters
  • Adequate number of candidates shortlisted
  • Mere minimum qualification doesn’t guarantee call
  • Bank’s decision final, no correspondence

2. Interview

  • Interview carries 100 marks
  • Qualifying marks decided by Bank
  • Personal/Telephonic/Video mode
  • Call letter sent by email only
  • Document verification at interview

3. Merit List

  • Based on interview scores only
  • Descending order merit list
  • Tie resolved by age (descending order)
  • CTC negotiation separately
  • Medical fitness required

Important Selection Instructions

  • Call letter/intimation sent by email or uploaded on website (No hard copy)
  • Outstation candidates reimbursed shortest route travel fare OR actual cost (whichever lower)
  • No TA/DA for local conveyance/taxi/cab/personal vehicle
  • Candidate not satisfying eligibility not allowed in interview
  • NOC from employer required for Govt/PSU/SBI Group employees at interview
  • Proper discharge certificate required from employer at time of joining
  • Criminal record verification may be conducted by Bank

Important Instructions

Special Provisions & Debarment Clause

Debarment Policy

  • Non-Joiners: Candidates who received offer letters in previous WM/WBPM recruitment but didn’t join shall be debarred for 2 years from non-joining date
  • Resigned Candidates: Candidates who previously engaged on contract for these posts and resigned shall be debarred for 2 years from resignation date
  • Caution Notice Issued: Candidates with caution notice issued after resignation barred from all future recruitments permanently
  • Debarment applicable to all current and future recruitment processes

Transfer Policy

  • Bank reserves right to transfer OECs to any SBI office in India
  • May be deputed to SBI associates/subsidiaries or other organizations
  • Transfer based on exigencies of service
  • Request for posting/transfer to specific place/office may not be entertained
  • Posting within applied/opted Circle centres
