Essential Qualifications

- Senior Secondary + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (50% marks) OR
- Senior Secondary + 4-year B.El.Ed. (50% marks) OR
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- CTET (Paper-I) pass is mandatory. Language subject (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English) pass at secondary level required.
NDMC Specific (Highlights)
- 12th pass (50% — 5% relaxation for SC/ST) + 2-year Diploma in Primary Education / ETE / JBT / DIET / B.El.Ed.
- Hindi as a subject in 10th class is mandatory.
- Desirable: Basic computer knowledge.

- Section A (100 Qs): General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English & Hindi Comprehension (20 marks each).
- Section B (100 Qs): Teaching Methodology / NCTE curriculum (domain specific).
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.
Age Relaxation & Reservation
- SC: +5 years | OBC: +3 years
- PwBD + UR/EWS: +10 years | PwBD + OBC: +13 | PwBD + SC/ST: +15
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of military service + 3 years (up to 55 years)
- Contract/Guest teachers of DoE: One-time relaxation up to actual contractual service (max 5 years) as per OM.
How to Apply
Applications will be accepted only online through the DSSSB portal.
- Register / Login at dsssbonline.nic.in and complete the form.
- Pay fee (if applicable) via SBI e-pay only. Fee: ₹100 (exemptions apply).
- Upload clear photograph, signature and required documents.
- Submit before 16 Oct 2025 (11:59 PM).
