Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (10th/8th Pass)
- Constable (GD) – Unreserved, SC, OBC: Passed 10th class under the 10+2 system or equivalent.
- Constable (GD) – ST (Scheduled Tribe): Passed 8th class or equivalent.
Age Limit (as of 29/09/2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (Male): 33 years (Unreserved/Other State)
- Maximum Age (Male): 38 years (SC/ST/OBC – MP Domicile)
- Maximum Age (Female): 38 years (All Categories – MP Domicile)
- Age relaxation is also applicable for government employees, home guards, and other specified categories.
Selection Process
- First Stage: Online Written Examination (100 Marks)
- Second Stage: Physical Efficiency Test (PET – 100 Marks) & Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Final Stage: Document Verification and Medical Examination
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Written Examination (100 Marks)
Duration: 2 Hours | No negative marking.
- General Knowledge & Logical Reasoning: 40 Marks
- Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude: 30 Marks
- Science & Simple Arithmetic: 30 Marks
Physical Efficiency Test (PET – 100 Marks)
A minimum of 30% marks is mandatory.
- 800 Meter Run: Maximum 40 Marks
- Long Jump: Maximum 30 Marks
- Shot Put (Gola Fek): Maximum 30 Marks (Marks are awarded based on performance, with different standards for men, women, and ex-servicemen.)
