The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) invites applications for Officer Grade ‘A’ posts in General, Legal, and IT streams.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Scale

₹62,500 – ₹1,26,100

Gross Emoluments

Approximately ₹1,80,000/- per month, including allowances and NPS contribution.

Eligibility Criteria (as of 25.09.2025)

Age Limit

A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years. Relaxations apply for reserved categories.

General Stream

Master’s Degree (Statistics/Economics/Commerce/MBA-Finance) OR Bachelor’s Degree (IT/CS/Law) OR B.Com with CA/CFA/CS/ICWA.

Legal Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university.

Information Technology (IT) Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science OR Master’s in Computer Application/IT.

*A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required in the qualifying examination.

Mode of Selection

Phase I: Online Screening Exam

Two papers of 100 marks each (MCQ based). Paper 1 covers general aptitude, while Paper 2 is stream-specific. There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for wrong answers.

Phase II: Online Examination

Two papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 is a Descriptive English test. Paper 2 consists of stream-specific MCQs. The final merit list gives 85% weightage to this phase.

Phase III: Interview

Shortlisted candidates from Phase II will be called for an interview, which carries a 15% weightage in the final selection. IT stream candidates must also pass a qualifying Coding Test.
